Kimberly graduated with honors from Geneva College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting. After graduation she moved to Anchorage, AK where she took a job with Mikunda, Cottrell & Co.
At Mikunda, Cottrell & Co., Kimberly worked on a variety of organizations including South East Regional Health Consortium, Bristol Bay Native Association, Alaska Pacific University, and Wrangell Public School District. Kimberly was an Audit Senior and responsible for leading financial audits, assisting clients in the preparation of financial statements and providing consulting services such as internal control recommendations, financial analysis and training on financial management.
In 2005, Kimberly joined the Coastal Villages Region Fund as Controller. There her responsibilities included general ledger accounting, budgeting, and preparing for board presentations and the annual audit.
After moving to Fairbanks, AK in 2007, Kim started a family and began working part time, performing workers compensation and general liability audits. She has now joined forces with Sun Mountain to provide her accounting expertise to clients all over the state.
Kimberly is proficient in preparing financial statements, cleaning up Quickbooks files, and getting companies ready for their annual audits. She is dedicated to providing a high level of service to all of her clients.
